Giving Tuesday: Dec. 3, 2024
Create for a Cause:
Writing Generator to benefit World Central Kitchen
This Giving Tuesday, carve out an hour for writing and do some good for the world.
In this busy time of year, it’s easy to let your own creative projects fall by the wayside. Don’t let that happen! Make time for your own work, and help others this December, when you join us on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd for a Live Writing Generator, 5-6pm ET.
You’ll spend an hour generating new poetry or prose with fellow creatives, and 70% of proceeds will be donated to World Central Kitchen.

Why World Central Kitchen?

The WCK feeds people fresh meals in areas hit by disaster in the United States and around the world, employing local food workers and using local cuisine. Just a few examples of recent places WCK has provided help are to families in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee following Hurricane Helene; in California following the Mountain Fire, and in Valencia, Spain in response to devastating floods.
Donating to this organization helps people suffering right now, and provides resources to respond quickly to future natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
